About

Nick Mole (CEO)

Nick owns Carbonlogical Ltd, a UK-based circular carbon economy advisory.

In 2023, he co-founded Tanzania-based www.studywithatree.com with the NGO Serengeti Eco Protection and Development Alliance. This integrated nature-based carbon circular economy aims to perpetuate and accelerate atmospheric carbon dioxide removal and transform it into sustainable economic value for rural African communities through the education system.

With a completed pilot project of 14 soon-to-be IT-connected schools, Nick's vision is for the campaign to gain momentum across the African continent, attracting industrial and philanthropic wealth from the global north for ethical and equitable distribution to the communities in return for carbon (circular economic) compensation for the creation, nature of green oasis carbon sinks.

Trained in technical communications, Nick has worked for significant manufacturing corporations servicing their need for global product information and publishing. Establishing his career at Airbus at the onset of the digital era, Nick quickly adopted a fascination for information communication technology. Riding the first wave of invention, he worked with several innovation startups supporting global manufacturers' product information. Today, accessibility is anywhere, anytime and in any language, driven along its lifecycle from a 'bright idea' to global launch and end of product life. This, in part, has generated globalisation, atmospheric pollution and the onset of global warming.

The reality of the damage caused by the industry's vast carbon footprint, Nick stepped off the corporate ladder and onto his career path of environmental remediation, meeting many incredible, inventive, free-thinking and spirited entrepreneurs on the same mission to develop the global climate tech industry. Consequently, 'Study with a Tree' is a unique 'product' created on the same lifecycle principles. The overwhelming difference is that it has no end-of-life and will continue to absorb and lock away atmospheric carbon dioxide tonnes on a vast scale for eternity.
